Of the harp and the transparency of the glass are associated with water. Maria Palatine has been a harpist and singer since childhood. Bernard Tirtiaux has been working with glass in his stained glass windows and sculptures for more than fifty years. They both write and compose. Songs, poems, tales, novels, as well as an opera, celebrate water, light, a quest for beauty and meaning that goes far beyond matter, musical matter.
“Prélude de cristal” is a sharing on their intertwined themes, a moment of poetry carried by music, voice and song with stories carved in crystal that give colour to life and iridescent hope.
